We strive for patient-centered care and comfort at Akron General where you will work with some of the best caregivers providing support for knee replacement shoulder ankle spinal surgeries.Akron General's Orthopaedic/Surgical Unit specializes in knee hip replacement shoulder ankle spinal surgeries patients require immediate frequent mobilization decreasing hospital length of stay post-surgical complications.
You play an integral role ensuring patients continue receiving best treatment possible working hands-on environment where caregivers encourage education mutual support teamwork each day numerous opportunities make difference community.
- Prepare units patient rooms beds receiving admission returning surgical transfer emergencies.
- Provide document assigned care bathing changing refreshing bed linens dressing undressing feeding etc.
