- A degree or certification from an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school for performing diagnostic mammography imaging is required.
- The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificate is preferred.
- Radiologic Technologist Specializing in Mammography RT(R)M is preferred.
- A multi board certification in the above-mentioned specialties is preferred.
- A minimum of two years' experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred.
- Valid CPR Certification is required.
- Completes all certification processes and required Continuing Education in a timely manner.
