JOBPURPOSE:

Performs patient assessments,general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratorycare for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis andinterpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patientand family education in both adult and neonatalareas.

7am-7pm

Qualifications:


MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

Associates Degree inRespiratory Therapy Sciences

MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Previous WorkingExperience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completionof department specific orientation including skills validation ofcompetencies for the duties and responsibilities of thislevel.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:

Registered by the National Board forRespiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of MedicalExaminers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Currentcertifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP. Must be actively practicingand maintaining all required
competencies in both adultand neonatal areas.

ADDITIONAL PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

Neonatal PediatricSpecialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Carepreferred.
