    The Opportunity:
    This is an onsite position out of Tampa, KS


    Wind turbine technicians inspect, troubleshoot, install components and repair wind turbines and turbine internal and external components such as controllers.

    They review manuals and schematic diagrams to determine the tasks, tools, equipment and parts needed.

    A Tech II will typically be a strong troubleshooter and be required to return turbines to service after faults in a timely manner.

    You might also be asked to lead a maintenance crew and/or mentor Tech I's.


    What You'll Do at Enel:


    Complete all scheduled maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment in a timely manner to maximize generationInstall, test, maintain and troubleshoot minor components and assist with some major componentsInitiate reports and records associated with maintenance and repairs.

    Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), JSA's, and job specific documentation that is required to conduct maintenance and repairs in the safest manner possible.

    Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job appropriate processes and proceduresPerform data collection and prepare reports in order to meet reporting requirements


    Who You Are:
    Strong attention to detail Ability to use electrical test equipment such as, DMM, meggers and multi process calibration equipmentStrong knowledge in electrical theory and troubleshooting techniquesProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, SQL Server software, facility management and reporting systems, and computerized diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsFamiliarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (e.g., voltage testers, amp clamps, hydraulic torque equipment, alignment tools, and various hand and power tools) and with heavy equipment required for facility maintenance including working knowledge of crane and rigging requirementsExperience with wind farm operations and maintenance


    What You've Accomplished:
    2+ years relevant work experience in wind energy or A.S. Degree (electrical or technical) and at least 1+ year's related experience and/or training
