    Job Summary:

    The Manager of Inside Sales will lead, mentor, and develop an Inside Sales Team for Cardinal Logistics. This individual will be the main visionary architect for the inside sales program. The Inside Sales Team will be comprised of Inside Sales Representatives and be primarily focused on the conversion of prospects into new customers for the organization. Additionally, as the team grows and matures, this individual will be charged with the development of Inside Sales Managers to lead smaller groups of Inside Sales Representatives to drive growth within the organization. The Manager of Inside Sales will report to the Director of Enterprise Solutions.

    Essential Functions:

    • Supervises and mentors Inside Sales Representatives.
    • Develops and teaching Sales Training Material to develop sales team.
    • Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new Inside Sales Representatives.
    • Assist new Inside Sales Representatives with Needs Assessment calls and helping to identify true opportunity
    • Work collaboratively with Enterprise Solutions Team as well as Network Branch Mangers to build solutions to add value to prospects supply chain.
    • Work to ensure proper account transition occurs between Inside Sales Rep and the operating Branch with all SOPs clearly outlined to properly support the business.
    • Willingness to sell as part of leading from the front as a Sales Leader within the organization.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Other Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree preferred in Transportation/Logistics.
    • Three of more years of related experience.
    • Have achieved sales objectives and use creativity and initiative to overcome client objections.
    • Must be comfortable making presentations to a variety of people at multiple management levels.
    • Must be a fluent communicator in person, telephone, and e-mail.
    • Taking role must not violate a non-compete/solicit agreement.
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office products.
    • Must be coachable.
