Description
JOB PURPOSE:
With the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist, performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure a high degree of quality services.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy preferred. Other health related experience might qualify.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine preferred. Eligible to sit for the sleep boards offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) preferred. Two (2) years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults preferred.
