- Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems/tasks by interpreting manufacturers'
- Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits, repairing complex electronic equipment, and
- Be knowledgeable on computer systems/operations and able to competently function/operate in a computer rich environment
- Work requires familiarity with the interrelationship of circuits and judgment in planning work sequences and in
- May provide guidance to lower-level technicians
- Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance activities on simulation equipment
- Work any shift and weekends as specified by the Contract for this site
- Perform other duties as assigned
- An Electronics Technician, Maintenance II, shall demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as a simulator technician
- Minimum experience shall include four (4) years of simulator maintenance, and shall be a graduate from a two (2) year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent
- Technicians must demonstrate networking and maintenance experience on simulator computer systems or equal in complexity to those computer systems outlined in the PWS
- Desire applicant to have an Information Assurance (IA) certification of A+ or higher
- The applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport, and must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- The applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a minimum of a SECRET clearance for access to classified information
