Description
As a Senior Facility Systems Engineer, you will provide technical resource with Disneyland Resorts Architecture & Facility Engineering (A&FE) team for Facility Control Systems with a specialization in Energy Management Systems (EMS) and HVAC.
Responsibilities/You Will
Develop, implement, and program building automation controls, develop engineering documentation and specifications for EMS and HVAC Controls including schematic drawings, system requirements, vendor performance specifications, wire lists, troubleshooting and maintenance procedures, acceptance test plans (ATP).
Troubleshoot Energy Management Systems (EMS) and respond to EMS related equipment operational issues, including taking measurements, performing engineering analysis, developing/implementing engineering recommendations and solutions, supervising fabrication and installation efforts and performing acceptance testing.
Provide installation support, start-up, commissioning. and turnover to In-house teams.
Develop and implement programming modifications for the building automation controls.
Create and modify AutoCAD drawings, points list, and wirelists.
Support site surveys to determine the requirements to complete the scope of work during design and pre-construction.
Complete design documents for building automation control upgrades, including drawings and specifications.
Prepare programming instructions for controls specialists, controls analysts, or sub-contractors.
Complete site visits to review progress, and quality of installation, and identify deficiencies.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
5+ years of proven experience in HVAC Controls, building controls and energy management systems.
Proficient experience with Air Handlers, Fan Coils, VAVs, and DX unit system design, implementation, and sustainment.
Carrier i-Vu and ComfortWORKS design and programming experience preferred.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, and HVAC or Central Energy Plant Systems.
Experience in wiring, troubleshooting, and testing Programmable Logic Controllers, VFDs, and digital/analog instrumentation.
Knowledge and experience designing in AutoCAD and design of UL 508A panels.
Understanding of system-level considerations and basic mechanical principles pumps, valves, pressurized systems, fans, compressed air and air dryer systems.
Knowledge of various electrical circuits, instrumentation relays, proximity switches, control valves, motors, drives, solenoids, pneumatic valves, thermistors, 4-20mA, 0-10/2-10VDC, RTDs, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of communication technologies/protocols:
CIP, BACnet, TCP/IP, Modbus, etc.
Programming capabilities and experience with Carrier Comfort Works, i-Vu, and Wonderware.
Experience with the operation of large multi-building campuses and facility controls integration.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.
Required Education
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $112,600.00 to $151,000.00 per year.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographical region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
