    This position has flexibility to be virtual. Palermo's Headquarters is located in Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley, Villa Palermo is a state-of-the industry manufacturing facility that adjoins our company headquarters.

    Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operations include an on-site bakery to produce best-in-class crusts, robotic packaging equipment, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving facility.

    Our Director of Sales is responsible for managing all aspects of the client relationship for our designated club sales partner.

    When you'll work...

    Hours will be flexible balancing activities and meetings between client and Palermo's time zones.

    What you'll do...

    Support our premier club sales retailer by providing sales strategies, evaluating trends, defining critical metrics, and utilizing data to identify trends and revenue opportunities.

    Provide consultation to client to provide new product innovation, while providing input to identify and resolve problems and issues.

    Be involved in all aspects of the customer sales process from maintaining product lines and sales forecasts to identification and delivery of new product ideas.

    Sell Palermo's family of brands as well as private label products.

    Demonstrate strong knowledge of relationship management to promote sales pipeline and negotiation around product development.

    Be a strong individual contributor (Note: This role does not have direct people leadership.)

    Create strategies that combine Palermo's branded products and customizable "Blue Sky" concept offerings to build pitches that drive revenues and deliver solutions.

    Open communication across all levels inside and outside of organization to ensure alignment to short- and long-range sales plans, making recommendations to improve efficiency in all areas of the business.

    Show your knowledge gained from your 8-10 years' sales experience within the food manufacturing industry to facilitate seamless delivery on sales goals.

    Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo's team succeeds.

    Capitalize on being a designated lifelong learner staying informed on current trends, customer needs, and competitive edge.

    Organized and methodical approach to problem solving – anticipating potential roadblocks and providing solutions.
