**Position Overview**: This job opportunity is for a Mental Health Counselor in the Alcohol and Drug Services treatment outpatient unit. The role involves conducting Assessments, providing Diagnosis for Substance Use Disorders, developing treatment plans, and leading group and individual treatment sessions for clients with SUD and Co-Occurring Disorders, including pregnant and/or parenting women. Collaboration with partnering agencies like Child Welfare Services and probation is essential, and experience in Medi-Cal or Drug Medi-Cal service documentation is highly valued.
**Position Requirements**:
- **Experience and Education**:
- Two years of experience in mental health and/or substance abuse counseling services.
- Possession of a master's degree in social work, Marriage and Family Counseling, clinical psychology, counseling, or related field.
- **License or Certificate**:
- Applicants must hold a valid California Driver's License.
- A valid license or registration required for this position must be maintained at all times during employment with Napa County.
