    Hey Hi We're By Rosie Jane - a clean beauty and fragrance brand based in Los Angeles

    We are looking for a smart, energetic, manufacturing loving Production and Warehouse Manager to join our team of COOL HUMANS.

    This role is responsible is responsible for managing the day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operation, which includes overseeing supervisors and direct labor, as well as maintaining a short/long term production and shipments schedules, ensuring adherence to operating procedures, safety compliance and communicating with other departments as necessary.

    Responsibilities
    Manufacturing
    Collaborate and communicate with Supply Chain Manager in master planning, production, and inventory management

    Direct, supervise, train, coach, and develop line leads and staff to ensure execution of production plan to quality, efficiency and safety standards.

    Implement and execute staff schedule to ensure production goals are met (daily, weekly and monthly)
    Manage production planning board and communication to all stakeholders and communicate any delays or concerns beyond scheduled completion dates.
    Implement beginning/end of shift meeting to supervise team.
    Plan and determine requirements for successful rollout of new products
    Implement quality control systems and procedures, ensure execution and reporting
    Find efficiencies in production including time studies, space and layout allocation, machinery vs labor decisions
    Provides suggestions on process improvements and implements improvements prioritized based on business needs.
    Ensure maintenance of all production machines, including maintaining all production supplies and materials to meet maintenance schedule
    Contribute to decision to purchase of new machinery and equipment
    Warehouse

    Direct, supervise, coach, and develop line leads and staff to ensure execution of warehouse and shipping processes in a timely manner to meet customer needs.

    Implement and execute staff schedule to ensure shipping goals are met (daily, weekly and monthly)
    Implement beginning/end of shift meeting to supervise team
    Oversee and manage all receiving and shipping activities and implement best practices to ensure efficiency in warehouse activities and reporting
    Implement quality control systems and procedures, ensure execution and reporting
    Find efficiencies in warehouse operations including time studies, space and layout allocation, and new technology tools.
    Financial Accountability
    Continuous improvement in operational efficiency and cost reduction
    Minimize waste, quality issues and scrap
    Work with Supply Chain Manager to maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and finished goods
    Adhere to Manufacturing budget, with regards to supplies, labor including temporary and overtime approval and machinery and other capital expenditures
    Overall
    Review time sheets and approval of vacation for team
    Ensures compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)
    Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
    Delivery of exceptional service to both external and internal clients
    Contributes towards corporate initiatives and incorporating best practices.
    Other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned
    Requirements
    Fluent in Spanish and English
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a production environment
    5+ years of experience in supervising or managing manufacturing operations in cosmetics or food or related

    pharmaceutical/chemical

    industry
    General knowledge of cosmetic formulation and equipment operation
    Intermediate experience with Excel, Google sheets. Netsuite experience or similar ERP a plus
    Highly self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems
    Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees
    Willingness to learn, desire to grow and lead
    Previous responsibility for finding and executing operational efficiencies
    Proven track record of data-driven decision making
