    Description
    This position is a full-time hourly position on our rotating shift.Rotating Shift schedule rotates weekly: Monday - Friday: (Dayshift) 6:00am - 2:00pm & (Afternoon shift) 2pm - 10pm.
    • Overtime as needed.
    Job Summary: Program, operate and machine parts for Production.

    Essential Job Functions
    • Operate and maintain lathes, drill presses, milling machines, grinders, CNC machines and other common machine equipment.
    • Follow prints, sketches, instructions, and procedures to ensure quality and accuracy of fabrication and specifications.
    • Assist R&D Department, as needed.
    • Report any production problems to superviso
    • Maintain a clean work
    • Operate, maintain, and repair pneumatic and measuring equipmen
    • Operate forklifts, jib cranes and overhead crane
    • Follow instructions using SP's, SWI, SJPs and TWI breakdowns, as applicabl
    • Problem solving and finding solution
    • Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety guidelines and procedure
    • Occasional weekend work may be requ
    • Domestic and international travel possible depending on the project.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor, in other areas of production as needed and qualified.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level
    • Regular and reliable attendance.
    • Knowledgeable in areas of machining, blueprint and technical reading required.
    • General knowledge of various metal
    • Detail orientated, precise and accurat
    • Mechanical aptitude with strong initiativ
    • Ability to communicate, in English, effectively and clearly by both written and verbal means.
    • Dependability under both supervised and unsupervised conditions, be a team player.
    • Basic math skills, read tape measures, calipers, micrometers and other measuring too
    • Experience working with CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other shop equipmen
    • Must be able to lift to 50-75lbs. consistently, bend, stand, twist, pull, and push heavy objects.
    • Ability to lift overhead, pull product from low standing areas, and stand on concrete for long periods of
    • Computer skills needed for programming.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug and background test.
    Minimum Qualifications for Application
    • High School Diploma or GED with 5 year of machining experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 2-year technical degree in Machining or similar field with 5 years of experience in the field.
    • Experience with Solid Cam or similar programming software.
    • Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system.
    • Experience in Lean Manufacturing Principles or Six Sigma.
