Job summary
MVP collaborates with its customers to offer tailored production solutions to meter, mix, dispense and apply materials.
+- Read blueprints and other drawings to ensure products are sized and otherwise machined correctly.
- Prepare CNC machines for operation by loading necessary tools fixtures and materials set up machine parameters including tool offsets work coordinates and cutting paths according to engineering drawings instructions minor modifications to programming with assistance from programmerengineering based on designs specifications optimize programs for efficiency accuracy considering tool paths cutting speeds feed rates operate CNC machinery produce parts components precision consistency monitor machine operations adjusting as needed ensure quality adherence specifications update information manufacturing software regarding job data inventory inspect finished parts defects meet quality standards dimensional tolerances perform routine maintenance CNC machines optimal performance prevent downtime clean lubricate machine components replace worn damaged tooling troubleshoot mechanical issues adhere safety protocols regulations operating machinery handling materials take proactive measures maintain safe working environment yourself others maintain accurate records production output material usage equipment maintenance activities document any issues deviations standard procedures future reference
