Job summary

We provide advanced care for children with vision problems from simple to complex conditions like cataracts eye injuries and juvenile glaucoma we believe in patient-centered care recognizing that families are the core of a child's strength and well-being we actively involve them in every decision about their child's treatment by listening educating supporting families we create a collaborative environment leading to better health outcomes satisfying care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts Comprehensive Eye Exams Performs detailed eye examinations upon physician referral verifies referral appropriateness uses specialized tests e.g visual acuity field color vision fundus photography to diagnose recommend treatment options.
  • Administers Non-Medical Treatments Develops implements non-surgical treatment plans for ocular disorders as prescribed by ophthalmologists including therapeutic devices interventions.
  • Maintains Detailed Medical Records Works with multidisciplinary teams maintains detailed medical records prepares reports stakeholders ensures follow-up care.
