Company Summary We are a U.S.-based co-manufacturer that produces premium freeze-dried pet food and treats for today's top brands. The company's freeze-drying facility in Little Falls, MN is one of the industry's largest, most advanced, and fully integrated freeze-drying manufacturing facilities.What a Maintenance Technician will do:

Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine necessary repairs
Plan repairs according to work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, utility, and facility systems
Perform maintenance on electrical and PLC/Control systems
Inspect facilities and grounds to identify and repair
Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
Basic maintenance and operation of HVAC systems
Proper use of Lock-Out-Tag-Out and all safety procedures
Knowledge of general carpentry and power tools

What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:

3+ years of working experience in a manufacturing/production facility
Must hold a Special Engineer class Boiler License or willingness to obtain
Electrical/PLC/Controls knowledge and experience
Willingness to obtain an Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration certificate.
Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID Documents
Ability to follow proper safety procedures and requirements
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations
Forklift certification and experience or willingness to obtain
