    MAKE AN IMPACT:
    JMSC-IP Live Virtual Constructive - Gaming (LVC-G) Systems Administrator for USARPAC MTCCS contract at Ft Wainwright, AK. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) program.

    GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training.

    Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems. Establish/ maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities. Transform technology into opportunity as an LVC-G Systems Administrator.     HOW AN LVC-IA OPERATOR WILL


    MAKE AN IMPACT:

    • Provides local and distributed live, virtual, constructive simulation and gaming training support incorporating live, virtual, constructive, and games for training (VBS 3) training devices supporting an Integrated Training Environment (ITE)
    • Systems management functions include installing software, managing user accounts, constructing communication files, conducting and archiving backup files, recovery, maintaining the technical library, secure operation and storage of encryption devices, and tuning systems parameters for optimal functions
    • Implements DISA STIGs and IAVM patching for all systems within the network enclave boundary
    • Sets up, monitors, operates and controls one or more central console computers or on-line terminals, and peripheral equipment
    • Selects and loads input and output
    • Observes operation of equipment, control panel, error lights, verification printouts, error messages, and faulty output, and responds accordingly
    • Maintains system documentation, records and prepares reports as required
    • Assists in performing system back-ups and recovery procedures
    • Resolves routine errors, and routes complex error messages to appropriate personnel
    • Confers with software engineering or programming personnel in the event errors require a change of instructions or sequence of operations
    • Manipulates controls to rearrange sequence of job steps to continue operations when individual units malfunction
    • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced operators
    • Assists in all aspects of Knowledge management as needed for the team
    • Participates in special projects as required WHAT YOU'

    LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Education: AA/AS in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or equivalent work/ military experience.
    • Experience: 3-5 years' experience (Required)
    • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of data processing and computer operations
    • Working knowledge of the Lightweight Directory Interchange Format (LDIF)
    • Working knowledge of the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO)
    • Security Clearance: Current Secret clearance (Required)
    • Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or higher (Required)
    • DoD M/ IAT Level II Certified
    • DoDM DCWF Role 451 System Administrator
    • Location: Fairbanks, AK (Ft Wainwright) - On-Site
