What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to define, design, and deliver impactful features.
• Craft scalable architecture and implement high-performing backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, emphasizing reliability and testability.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, ensuring robust error handling and graceful degradation.
• Continuously enhance system performance and developer experience through automation and refactoring.
• Debug complex issues across the stack while proactively identifying areas for technical improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and share best practices with the team.
• Maintain documentation of technical decisions, systems, and processes to ensure transparency for future team reference.

What We're Looking For

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend systems.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot; sound understanding of modern backend architectures and best practices.
• Experience building and scaling web services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with relational databases and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like AngularJS or React is a bonus.
• Strong debugging skills and a methodical, problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
