    Business Systems Analyst

    Job Summary: The primary role of a Business Systems Analyst is to analyze various data processing challenges across science, engineering, and business domains, applying solutions to electronic data processing systems. This position involves evaluating user requirements, procedures, and obstacles to streamline or enhance existing systems, while also assessing computer system capabilities and workflow efficiencies.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with business units to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable directives for programmers and developers.
    • Conduct cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to facilitate informed decisions on system implementations.
    • Engage with clients to comprehensively comprehend their information processing and computational needs.
    • Establish connections and optimize compatibility among computer systems within the organization to facilitate seamless information sharing.

    Required Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with adept problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Capacity to work independently while effectively managing time and priorities.
    • Foundational knowledge of design techniques and principles essential for producing drawings and models.
    • Familiarity with various computer software tools, including but not limited to Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.

    Education and Experience:
    • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
    • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience is necessary for this role.
