Position Description

Landmark Construction Company Inc., an industry leader in construction solutions for over 50 years and counting, is seeking a team-oriented Project Engineer.

As a Project Engineer, you will support the project management team as needed to ensure successful execution of projects with various clients and subcontractors.

The Project Engineer should have a strong desire to learn from the Project Manager and be able to execute the following specific subtasks of project management successfully.

As a Project Engineer you will:

Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with construction documents.

Monitor the delivery of needed materials for projects, ensuring timely deliveries and appropriate billing

Review and track project invoices to ensure the appropriate billings and manage material needs

Maintain job files to ensure continuity of workflow

Review, distribute, and track RFI's

Work within a fast-paced environment

Be an independent self-starter who will be backed by a highly supportive culture and team atmosphere

Be prepared to travel throughout the southeast. Travel is required for this position due to the nature of our work

Position Requirements

Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering,

1 to 3 years of experience in sitework construction projects: erosion control, excavation, or utility installation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
