    **Description**

    We are hiring a Part-time Driver in our Senior Life Options Program This position is responsible for the safe transportation of the residents at both the Commons and Fountains to their medical appointments, including our memory care residents.

    This position has a starting wage of $16 - $16.80 per hour.

    This position has a schedule of 16 hours per week, Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 am - 5 pm, and as needed for resident medical appointments.

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to cooperate with others, and be completely honest. Others assigned duties include:

    Transporting residents and their necessary equipment to various locations such as doctor, hospital, shopping, Senior Daybreak, etc. and ensuring residents arrive safely and in a timely manner.

    Regularly cleaning vehicles and performing preventative maintenance inspections as required.

    Reporting any problems or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

    Following guidelines in the Transportation Handbook located on each vehicle.

    Work with the Transportation Coordinator to arrange alternative transportation when needed.

    Assist with activities as needed.

    Other duties as assigned.
