- Delivers care appropriate for a primary care clinic with a multicultural adult patient population
- Engagement in scholarly activities and institutional service are also essential parts of the position, including clinical research, teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; participation in quality improvement and systems compliance initiatives; and Division, Departmental, Medical School and University-wide service
- Maintain outpatient clinical practice at any of our UHealth ambulatory locations
- 9 half-day sessions per week
- Involved in clinical/educational activities at Jackson Memorial Hospital including inpatient wards, medical consultation service and the ambulatory resident clinic
- MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency
- Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques
- Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
- Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
- Current BLS certification required. ACLS (if applicable)
- Valid DEA licensure
