    Summary

    The Dayton VA Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse, Clinical Outcomes Coordinator, CLC

    The Clinical Outcomes Coordinator RN executes designated responsibilities demonstrating
    leadership and creativity in the management of the quality performance improvement
    programs and is qualified to manage and oversee clinical outcomes for CLC Nursing.
    The COC must be able to apply systems thinking and safeguard the quality of care delivered.

    This is not a bargaining unit position.

    Duties

    Major duties include but not limited to:
  • Uses specialized knowledge and skills for the coordination of quality improvement across all sections of Community Living Center Nursing Service.
  • Serves as subject matter expert (SME) and clinical expert.
  • Includes clinical practice, leadership, quality improvement, teaching, and the use of evidenced based practice.
  • Serves as a leader through skilled communication, critical thinking, and decision making to achieve quality, cost-effective care.
  • Executes designated responsibilities demonstrating leadership and creativity in the management of the quality performance improvement programs and is qualified to manage and oversee clinical outcomes for CLC Nursing.
  • Directing program management is a responsibility that the COC oversees and coordinates with various projects and other strategic initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Helps drive organizational change by helping with agile transformations, including helping to implement practices and principles.
  • The COC must be able to apply systems thinking and safeguard the quality of care delivered.
