    Hours:

    8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday


    Salary:
    $90,000-$120,000 per year


    The Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for driving and supporting all efforts in engineering concerning electrical and programmatic control of the hydraulic and mechatronic systems of the company.

    In addition, this role will support the creation of innovative, cost-effective product designs that are properly documented for manufacturing; the accurate, timely management of assigned projects; and provide technical expertise that assists in the resolution of production-related issues.


    Job Duties/Responsibilities:


    Prior experience coding with C++ and developing and supporting the electrical control of hydraulic & mechatronic systems on company products.


    Creates and maintains machine control programs on various platforms using vendor-supplied software and available program compilers and designs electrical harnesses for mobile equipment utilizing various industrial connectors and components to ensure robust functionality and durability.

    Ability to modify existing programming/logic-based/controlled products, as well as pioneer new control methods for existing and new product developments. Supports data connectivity/transfer between company products and cloud locations, as well as online/app dashboard summaries.


    Acts as a technical product expert and resource to assist customers and internal teams in resolving escalated product technical and operational issues as well as production, rework, and critical technique issues.

    Actively participates in customer visits to troubleshoot onsite complex technical/program issues.


    Requirements:
    A two-year degree in Engineering, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or computer science engineering is preferred.

    Eight or more years of engineering-related experience in a co-op or work-related role.

    Ability to speak with poise and confidence, read, write, and speak proper English, public speaking and presenting preferred.

    Advanced problem-solving skills, conflict resolution.
