    Description

    You are a strong translator between Finance and the business; you take complex financial data and turn it into simple, purposeful, and impactful narratives for various audiences.


    Technologically Savvy:
    you have utilized software or leaned on automation tools to optimize processes.

    The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting or corporate finance/FP&A and operational expertise, the ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth insur-tech Company.

    Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to analyze and interpret data, identify revenue trends, and proactively pinpoint anomalies.

    Utilize data-driven insights to assess revenue patterns, trends, and anomalies and tell the story to enable informed decision-making and strategic planning.

    Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of varying assumptions on revenue projections and provide insights for risk mitigation.

    Oversee the collection, organization, and maintenance of data sources that feed into the revenue model ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

    Work cross-functionally with several teams across the organization, including but not limited to: IT, Offshore Revenue Recognition Team, Sales Operations, GL Accounting, and FP&A.

    Proactively identify and investigate revenue anomalies, working closely with teams to resolve discrepancies and mitigate risks.

    Minimum of seven years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of four years of demonstrable experience managing and leading high functioning teams.

    Proven experience in developing complex financial models.

    This includes the ability to perform updates, run scenarios, perform sensitivity analysis , and how to reflect events that impact the business.

    Strong understanding of business operations and accounting principles.
    Excellent operational and financial management skills, including the ability to analyze and resolve issues.
    Prior experience with financial audits and flux analysis.
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
    Ability to be in the office 5 days a week.
