- Participate in private equity tax compliance engagements for clients with?appropriate consideration?of risk, operational, and tax technical issues
- Prepare tax returns?and materials
- Research?of?tax legislation and explaining?the impact to private equity clients?is?required?as part of?your contribution?to tax consulting projects
- Operate in a?dynamic environment, coach junior staff members,?and share your knowledge and experience with the entire team
- Coordinate multiple engagement teams schedules and deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Proficiency?in partnership allocations and an understanding of private equity carry waterfalls
- Proficiency?in juggling multiple priorities
- Willingness and ability to learn new concepts with minimal guidance?
- Some experience in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns and Schedules K-1 and K-3 preferred, but not required
- Some experience with computing taxable income and partnership allocations for private equity funds preferred, but not required
- Knowledge and experience with targeted allocations, waterfalls, profits interests, and carried interest preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- CPA or?qualifications completed to pursue CPA?
- 1+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firm??
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong external and internal communication required, due to client facing role and importance of strong partnership with internal engagement teams??
- Understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc. required?
- Initiative to learn, ask questions, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo
- Develop strong relationships internally, and flexibility are required and keys to success?
