Job summary
This is a full-time onsite Microbiology Scientist position located in Pittsburgh PA performing intermediate to complex analysis in support of various testing materials products and/or devices utilizing various analytical instrumentation follows Standard Operating Procedures and methods to perform testing provides intermediate to complex review analysis interpretation and documentation of testing results.
Ensures the accuracy of various tests equipment actions procedures and operational databases reports and related details through audits queries and operational reviews works with teams to resolve discrepancies cleans maintains prepares and calibrates equipment samples and related areas interprets applies department policies procedures assists with applicable laws codes regulations receives guidance within these areas as needed contributes efficiency effectiveness department service customers offering suggestions directing participating active member work team promotes supports overall mission Pace Analytical demonstrating courteous cooperative behavior interacting customers staff acts manner promoting harmonious effective workplace environment.
