We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in our financial reporting and analysis process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will be responsible for various accounting activities, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits and tax filings.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring they are in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by junior staff.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and planning.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff and support their professional development.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and mentorship qualities.
