We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Agricultural Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Job Overview: The Senior Agricultural Diesel Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components in agricultural machinery. This role requires advanced technical knowledge and experience in agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in agricultural diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors, combines, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and resolve issues.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to agricultural equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in diesel mechanics or agricultural equipment technology preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, specifically with agricultural machinery.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel, air, and cooling systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Willingness to travel to various locations for on-site repairs and maintenance as needed.
