    This is a 6 month contract within the legal and compliance division. This consultant will be on the Level 3 team within the Legal & Compliance Department and will be responsible forr conducting quality control on SAR's that have been composed.

    Our client is a large, foreign, International Bank. With it's full-fledged services, our client specialize in corporate lending, international trade services, treasury business, U.S. dollar clearing, retail banking, correspondent banking and various other lines of business

    Description

    • Responsible for performing quality control on SAR's and DNF'S within the initial and 90-day period. With this information, the consultant is responsible for preparing reports and delegating approvals as needed.
    • Reviewing RFI's, obtaining sensitive documentation, and completing case reviews that are provided by the level2 team
    • Complete AML project work as needed
    • Communicating any sensitive information to management queries
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the regulations and regulatory guidance within the industry

    Profile

    • Immediately available for work
    • Obtained a Bachelor's degree of higher
    • CAMS is not required but preferred
    • 3+ years of experience within financial services
    • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs
    • Strong experience with preparing SAR's, AML/BSA responsibilities, transaction monitoring and policies and procedures
    • Experience with a high volume of SAR's and focusing on high risk jurisdictions
    • US dollar clearing experience
    • Excellent skills with presentations, speaking with senior management, working directly with regulators & auditors, written/verbal formats and organizational skills as well.

    Job Offer

    This contract is offering a consultant a 6 month contract with the ability to potentially be extended. The client is offering a hourly market rate and is looking to bring someone on ASAP.
