- Researching and gathering of required data to evaluate plans.
- Interacting with subject matter experts.
- Coordinating project assignments.
- Interpreting project progress schedules and analyzing delays.
- Utility procedures and water and reclaimed water distribution.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plats, maps, aerial photos, and diagrams.
- Study program(s) of Pinellas County Utilities.
- Assist Section Manager and/or Senior Engineers and/or Project Managers with assigned tasks.
- May prepare reports for staff related to assigned projects.
- May analyze and present data to management.
- Some clerical assignments such as scanning or filing.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled toward a degree in engineering, environmental science, information technology, economics, health science, math, chemistry, or physics from an accredited college or university or on a leave of absence from an accredited educational institution.
- Experience with basic computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Some experience with problem resolution.
- Some experience with asset management.
- Some experience with project management documentation, tracking, and control processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze moderately complex assignments.
