The Airfoils Division manufactures complex highly technical investment casting for turbine engine applications used in commercial jet engines, military jet engines, helicopters and industrial gas turbines.

Reporting Relationship:
Reports directly to Quality Assurance EngineerLocation: Mentor / RP, OHEducation: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience

Work Experience:
One year Airfoils' experience with dimensional, visual or NDT inspection experience. Visual experience required.


Principal Area of Responsibility:
The Quality Control Technician will assist in the development of quality systems with the customer and manufacturing organization to assure delivery of quality castings

Specific Duties:
Assist Quality Engineer in the review of customer drawings, specifications, etc., to customer quality requirements.
Perform audits to monitor product quality.
Write Quality Engineering Instructions and implement quality systems.
Auditing shipments by visually auditing castings and auditing paperwork.
Assist in the preparation of paperwork for shipments.
Assist in other duties as assigned by supervision.
Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
