    Pay Range $24.88-$39.81*CHMC-Operations Assistant – Full Time-Day Shift- 8a-4:30p – Req 7420
    The Operations Assistant maintains a close working relationship with executive personnel, department managers, and clinical leaders. Ensures the efficient operation of the Operations Center while supporting the Operations Specialist. Must be an organized self-starter.

    The Operations assistant should possess knowledge of hospital internal operations, ability to record/maintain accurate meeting minutes, forward and distribute mail as required, and prepare and maintain relevant documents.

    May need to travel to multiple facilities.

    Reports to the Operations Specialist

    EDUCATION:

    Required:
    High school diploma or equivalent

    TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
    Prior office management experience is preferred. Good judgment and discretion for dealing with public. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must possess ability to type and compose correspondence using proper rules and grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Flexibility in working hours Ability to maintain confidentiality are necessary. Must possess the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all age groups. Ability to be a self-starter and take ownership of required tasks. Willingness to learn. Strong team member

    Preferred:
    Previous experience in a similar role.
