Supplier Sourcing Specialist

Location:

Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of component sourcing, supplier negotiation, and global supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

Source, select, and qualify suppliers for components and materials used in Apple's technology and products.
Investigate alternate component technologies or materials to reduce cost and improve quality and reliability in Apple's technology and products.
Act as the technical interface between component suppliers and development engineers, enabling new and alternate sources for new feature enablement, supply risk mitigation, and cost savings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Operations Research or related field.
1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Excel or Tableau to manage complex data and analyze datasets.
Knowledge of vendor contract negotiation and execution.

At Apple, we offer a competitive base pay range of $151,200 - $227,600/yr, which may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
