Trail Maintenance Internship Details

A Community Service Opportunity in Fairbanks Alaska

As part of our summer intern program you will be working closely with local trails organization hand-in-hand performing much-needed maintenance work across many beautiful Alaskan area trails
during your four month long tenure . This role consists specifically
of trail benching brushing removing hazardous obstacles building water drainages improving overall hiking surface safety also general upkeep carpentry painting tasks.

Locations Include:

Skarland Trail

EQUALINOX Trail

Tanana Lakes Trails etc...
Picks Pulaskis chainsaws power tooling all equipment necessary are utilized daily so regular practice expected.
personal protective gear must be worn always while doing outdoor fieldwork.
