    This opportunity is Hybrid in NY 3 days.

    This role requires a valid P&C license.

    The Senior Account Executive is responsible for effectively servicing and retaining the growth of large and complex real estate accounts. Must have the ability to multi-task, delegate, and train junior staff.

    Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Address clients' needs in a timely manner.
    • Conduct detailed coverage reviews of existing policies and make recommendations to broaden the client's insurance programs.
    • Where applicable run Flood determinations to ensure the client is covered
    • Negotiate the best possible rates and coverage according to underwriting guidelines.
    • Review invoices, policies, endorsements, premium allocations, and other documents as necessary to meet statutory and compliance requirements.
    • Procure and bind insurance per the client's instructions.
    • Process Certificates of Insurance, Binders, and Placement Requests efficiently.
    • Review policies for compliance with internal procedures and in accordance with binders specification.
    • Prepare presentations of proposals for clients and prospective clients
    • Maintain diligent relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction via in person or virtual meetings.
    • Apply (basic) proficiency of loss analysis, SIRs, Retrospective Rating/loss sensitive plans on account activity as needed
    • Prepare documentation for market accounts in accordance with internal guidelines and controls.
    • Participate in new business strategy meetings and presentations.
    • Market renewals, specialized coverages for new business in collaboration with marketing
    • Relevant experience handling the insurance and risk management needs of clients in the real estate industry and familiarity with the servicing needs of clients in the real estate industry.

    Experience and Skills Required:

    • A minimum of 6-8 years related experience.
    • Valid P&C License
    • Experience with servicing both middle market and large accounts.
    • Four-year college degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail.
    • Strong presentation skills, deadline driven.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of EPIC (ideal).
