    Glen Raven is recruiting for a Tax Accountant, which will be responsible for performing accounting tasks associated with the maintenance and preparation of tax records and tax returns.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepares and files multiple state and local sales and use tax returns,property tax returns and various other state and local returns for the company
    • Reconciles sales tax detail to the General Ledger
    • Maintains records of tax filings and payments.
    • Files tax extensions as necessary
    • Researches and remains up to date on tax changes affecting return filings.
    • Assists with tax notices and audit defense as needed.
    • Additional tax related responsibilities at the discretion of the tax director.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and experience
    • Relevant experience doing sales and use tax returns preferred
    • Knowledge of Oracle applications & tools and MS Office preferred
    • Attention to detail

    • Analytical thinking skills
