    DESCRIPTION


    Under direction of the Supervisor, the Histotechnologist performs technical histology tasks and procedures to include tissue processing, tissue embedding, microtomy, staining, immunofluorescence, accessioning, equipment preventive maintenance, quality control, immunohistochemistry, inventory, supply ordering, data gathering/reports, slide and FFPE block filing/retrieval and other histology related duties.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum two (2) years of experience as an histotechnologist.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree.
    Microtomy, sectioning and embedding proficiency.
    Histotechnician or Histotechnology certification by A.S.C.P.

    SPECIAL CONDITIONS
    Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
    Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
    Pay Transparency Act

    Annual Full Pay Range:
    $77,465 - $96,278 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

    Hourly Equivalent:
    $ $46.11
