- Assemble and disassemble fiberglass lifeboats.
- Inspect, repair, adjust, and/or replace mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components within using hand tools, power/pneumatic tools, and electrical test equipment.
- Assist higher-level personnel in more complex maintenance, repair, servicing, and troubleshooting of diesel engines, lifting hooks, davit/crane structures and winches.
- Assist with fiberglass repairs (grinding, mold prepping, new part production, etc.)
- Assist with painting (buffing, cosmetic defects, sanding, etc.)
- Forklift operation (training provided.)
- Crane operation (training provided.)
- Basic mechanical skills.
- General 12v electrical knowledge.
- Clean driving record.
- Shipyard experience preferred.
- Auto/Diesel mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Offshore Certifications preferred (provided if not available.)
- Automotive/Aircraft/Airplane painting experience preferred.
