Kohler Company is seeking an Associate Creative Director— an experienced specialist in art direction and graphic design—to join The Beacon, Kohler Co.'s in-house agency.

The Associate Creative Director is responsible for will be responsible for concepting, pitching, and executing idea-driven creative across multiple channels for Kohler's world-class hospitality brands, ranging from 5-star resorts and spas to globally recognized golf courses.

In this role, you'll partner closely with our Hospitality leaders to take projects from initiation to completion—including research, concepting, designing, refinement and presentation.

A diverse skill set is required—including key skills on-set/location art direction, covering graphic design, social media creative, presentation development and presenting to groups, image selection and excellent type skills.

Specific Responsibilities
Be the primary creative partner with hospitality business in defining and producing elevated creative campaigns
Provide strong art direction for photo and video shoots
Provide strong design direction for graphic design and branding creative
Handle multiple workstreams at once with ability to pivot and prioritize among projects
Collaborate with small team of designers, copywriters, project/account managers, producers, photographers, videographers and additional resources as necessary
Partner with outside creative agencies and/or individuals
Ensure consistency and strategic alignment with the larger Kohler brand and continuity throughout hospitality projects
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
Display appetite for contemporary trends and developments in hospitality, travel, art and design
A high level of personal engagement, positive attitude, and collaborative mindset
Skills/Requirements
BFA/BA in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or related degree
Minimum seven years of Graphic Design experience in an agency, studio or in-house environment
Luxury, global and hospitality brand experience preferred
A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual skills, broad design experience and knowledge of various production processes
Expertise on the Mac OS platform using Adobe Creative Suite, including—but not limited to—InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience in motion design is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with both internal and external teams and partners
Must be able to self-manage, initiate workflows and show strong commitment to see projects through completion
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The salary range for this position is $117,000 - $149,500.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
