    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a CVOR RN Scrub with vascular and cardiac experience and an active NY RN license for a cardiac surgery setting.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Cardiac Surgery unit of a hospital
    • Serving adult cardiovascular and vascular surgical patients
    • 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, typically starting setup at 6:30 am
    • On-call required 8-10 shifts per month from 4:00 pm to 7:00 am
    • Participate in surgical procedures as a scrub RN focused on cardiac and vascular cases
    • Orientation provided at the start of the assignment
    • COVID vaccination required
    • References required for consideration

    Requirements

    • Active NY RN license required
    • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Prior experience as a CVOR scrub nurse with both vascular and cardiac procedures required
