Position: World Language Educator (Spanish) or (Spanish and French)
Description: Enfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate World Language Educator. The ideal candidate will utilize research-based best practices for teaching and learning within the world language content area. This position requires a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging learning environment that aligns with our mission statement.
Qualifications:
- Must be working toward or hold CT certification: Spanish, 4– , or French, 4– , or Dual Cert.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong understanding of research-based best practices for teaching and learning in world languages.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans that meet diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and district goals.
- Utilize instructional technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve instructional practices.
