    Summary:

    The Payment Specialist role will focus on the review of daily bank reports and the entry of all transactions into internal ERP systems. The Payment Specialist will also prepare and presentThis role will assist the accounting team to ensure payments are made timely and accurately. Our team communicates with internal and external customers to ensure documentation is received timely and accurately through various electronic methods, including email, ticketing software, and online portals.

    Responsibilities:

    · Review reports and verify all records for processing and payment accuracy.

    · Schedule wires with leadership for invoices approved for payment

    · Entry into all internal ERP systems all items on bank statements

    · Maintain both electronic and non-electronic files.

    · Uphold professionalism in service to vendors, clients and visitors.

    · Establish and maintain confidential company files and records.

    · Perform other duties as assigned

    · Communicate with internal and external customers through multiple electronic software and websites.

    · Assist with other duties and projects as assigned and deemed necessary to meet business needs.

    · Interact daily with Customer Care personnel and additional Surya work groups such as Shipping, Returns, Operations, Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Accounting, and the Surya Leadership Team.

    Recommended Education, Experience and Skills:

    · High School diploma

    · Minimum of 2 years' experience in office environment, preferably in a wholesale/distribution or customer service environment

    · Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and follow through.

    · Ability to analyze large sets of data.

    · Demonstrates cognitive skills, able to explain and resolve complex problems.

    · Demonstrates ability to accurately explain and train on complex processes.

    · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

    · Demonstrates initiative to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to management.

    · Intermediate Excel skills and Google documentsskills

    · Demonstrates self-motivation and needs to be highly organized.

    · Demonstrates flexibility and ability to productively manage stress.
