Inventory ClerkPay Rate/Range:
$18.00
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. M-F
Location:
Montgomery, AL
Duration: 3 months
Job Description:
Count merchandise in stock and accurately record totals in inventory records.
Compare physical inventories with office records or compute figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to ensure accuracy of current inventory.
Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
Generate reports such as inventory balances or shortages to inform management of inventory status.Prepare lists of depleted items and recommend surveys of defective or unusable items for further action.
Additional Requirements:
Experience operating a stand-up forklift and pallet jack.
Ability to work in all three environments: Dry Area, Freezer, and Cooler.
Capable of working in environments with temperatures between 0F and 34F.
