- Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.The Financial Analyst will:
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare and/or analyze financial reports, budgets, and revenue projections.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, monitor budget, and reallocate funds as necessary.
- Process all transactions related to the office's financial activities, including purchasing, payables, and reimbursement.
- Design and maintain spreadsheets and databases for tracking and compliance with university and outside requirements/policies.
- Process all purchasing requests and maintain all purchasing related tracking and record keeping.
- Serve as liaison with business/financial administrators and other departments.
- Produce monthly summary reports for endowments and special purpose accounts.
- Assist with preparation of fiscal year-end projections and future fiscal year proposals.
