    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

    As a School Nurse specializing in G-Tube, Tract, and Vent Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our students with specialized medical needs. This position requires expertise in managing gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators, as well as providing prehensive nursing care to students with plex medical conditions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide skilled nursing care to students with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators in a school setting.
    • Monitor and assess students' health status, including vital signs, respiratory status, and nutrition intake.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
    • Collaborate with parents/guardians, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students.
    • Educate and train school staff on emergency procedures and proper care techniques for students with specialized medical needs.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
    • Expertise in G-Tube, Tract, and Vent Care.
    • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
    • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
    • Current CPR certification.
