Job summary

The Fiber Optic Directional Bore Operator is responsible for operating horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment to install underground fiber optic conduit and infrastructure.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate bore paths, maintaining safe job sites, and completing projects efficiently while meeting company and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating directional boring or HDD equipment is preferred
  • Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and job site procedures
  • Understanding of underground utility locating practices
