Description
Our client, a prestigious government agency, is seeking a contract attorney barred and in good standing in New York with 2+ years of commercial law experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents: contracts, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), leases, assignments, software licenses, data share agreements, confidentiality agreements, bid books, memoranda of law, and other legal papers;
Assist with providing legal assistance to DSS/HRA/DHS program areas by researching applicable statutes, case law or other material to resolve legal questions or problems, interpreting the intent and legal ramifications of laws, and rules and regulations related to the delivery of services;
May be required to assist Law Department attorneys in document production for litigation purposes; and
Perform other related tasks
