    The Alexandria VA Medical Center in Alexandria/Pineville, LA, is seeking a full-time, BC/BE, Cardiologist to serve as a member of its Specialty Care Team.     Highlights of this position include:
  • Competitive Starting Salary $335,000-$360,000
  • Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with cardiac diseases
  • Provide services such as outpatient examinations, consultation services related to cardiology, management of patients with current treatment regiment, and admission status as necessary
  • Responsible for patient data documentation within 24 hours; encounters for outpatients; consult notes; and enter new and renewal of prescriptions
  • Will be required to attend cardiology team, Medicine Service, and meetings with medical center staff.
  • Required to serve on committees and participate in quality assurance program.Additional Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Cardiology
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
  • Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. StateWe offer:
