- Provide anesthesia coverage in various surgical departments including Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Structural Heart/Cath Lab
- Potentially cover anesthesia in departments such as General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and more
- Combination of resident supervision and independent practice
- 8-hour shifts on non-call days
- Home call shifts for cardiac cases only approximately 1:3 weekdays and every 3rd weekend
- Non-Clinical days available for Core Faculty Staff
- ABA Board Certification or Eligibility; current ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Completion of an Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship
- Certification in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography
- Active CA license
- Interest in teaching and residency education
- 1099 Independent Contractor status
- $2600 per guaranteed 8-hour shift with hourly compensation beyond 8 hours
- Weekday and weekend call stipend
- Estimated $700k annual compensation with 40 hours per week and 6 weeks of vacation
- Flexible scheduling for better work-life balance
- Potential to earn more by covering additional shifts
- Sign-on bonus and student loan forgiveness options available

- Possibility for faculty/core faculty contract with GME
- Four residents per class with in-house call every 24 hours
