    Develop and implement traffic management plans that address the unique needs of Southern California's diverse roadways and transportation systems.

    • Conduct thorough traffic impact assessments for new developments, ensuring compliance with local regulations and sustainable growth principles.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate smart transportation technologies, such as intelligent traffic signals and real-time traffic monitoring systems.
    • Analyze traffic data, identify patterns, and propose data-driven solutions to enhance traffic flow, reduce congestion, and improve safety.
    • Design and optimize signal timings, lane configurations, and intersection geometries to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
    • Participate in community engagement initiatives, presenting technical information to diverse audiences and gathering valuable insights.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years or more experience in traffic engineering, including traffic impact analysis, signal design, and transportation planning.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Synchro, AutoCAD, InRoads, Microstation, and GIS applications.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex traffic data and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with colleagues, clients, and the community effectively.
    • Passion for sustainable traffic and transportation solutions and a commitment to fostering positive change in the Southern California region.
